Everyday I'm honored by having two wonderful children. Mind you - they are a handful. Alexandra is three and a half and Hudson is almost two. They tackle me as soon as I get home. I mean physically tackle me. There are so many wonderful things that they do everyday as they piece together our world. Just last night Alexandra stumped me on one of our social norms. She says...
Alexandra: Mommy why are you and daddy married?
Me: Because we love each other.
Alexandra: I love you too mommy. Can I marry you?
Me: Yes
But that simple question really stuck. Can I marry you? I think as we get married and have families our children are automatically married to us with vows and a love deeper than anything I've ever experienced.
So yes Alexandra - we are already married.
